Computer and Digital Literacy


Description
The Computer and Digital Literacy course explores the fundamental competencies required to successfully manage today's digital technologies and become digital citizens. Students work individually and in a project based learning environment to:

compare and contrast hardware and software technologies
explain how to access information online
use online productivity and collaboration tools
recognize online risks
define online civility
collaborate in a team environment to share imaginative solutions made possible through computer science

There are two Computer and Digital Literacy courses, one designed for high school and a less rigorous one for middle school. Both courses are content rich and include collaborative activities,
